FANUC ER-4iA Robot Fenceless CERT Cart

Teach industrial automation with the world’s leading robot for education!

The FANUC Fenceless ER-4iA is a 6-axis industrial robotic arm on an open workspace used to teach automated material handling, assembly, and a variety of other applications. FANUC is the world’s leading brand of industrial robots. Now, your students can learn robotic programming and operation on the same platform they’ll see in industry!

FANUC’s education robots are real-world industry solutions designed for the classroom

With over 25 million products installed worldwide, FANUC is the most common platform in automation. When students enter the workforce, chances are they’ll be working on a FANUC robot. The FANUC CERT Program gives educators the technology, training and curriculum to prepare their students for careers in industrial automation.

The Fenceless ER-4iA CERT Cart was developed with student safety in mind, combining FANUC DCS Position and Speed Check software with an Allen-Bradley SafeZone Mini Safety Laser Scanner. This robot will fit through a standard door and runs off 110V power, while providing a large enough work envelope to give your students the perfect introduction to industrial robotics.

Basic Robot Operations

On the fenceless CERT cart robot, students will attain a basic understanding of robot operations and programming, material handling and its components, as well as get introduction to preventative maintenance with troubleshooting.

These training solutions and programs are aligned to the FANUC Certified Robot Operator National Certification offered through NOCTI. This level focuses on the core Robot Operator skills needed by employers at an entry level or incumbent workers skills development.

Intermediate Automation Skills

Add-ons to the cart give students a thorough understanding of robot operations and programming, material handling and its components, and integrated technologies like 2D iRVision, conveyors, digital and Ethernet I/O.

Instructor Resources & Training

First-time CERT schools will receive one instructor training as part of the gift-in-kind. Additional instructors can attend FANUC’s world-class robotic training sessions at a number of sites across the Midwest.

You will also receive instructor manuals, including:

  • (1) FANUC Robot Operations
  • (1) FANUC HandlingTool Operation & Programming
  • (1) FANUC HandlingPRO (ROBOGUIDE Simulation)
