The FANUC Weld CERT Cart is an advanced, mobile robotic welding training solution designed to deliver hands-on education in robotic welding. Perfect for classrooms and technical training centers, the Weld CERT Cart brings industrial-grade equipment into an educational setting, allowing students to practice on the same technology they will use in professional environments. The Weld CERT Cart can be used with a Miller Electric or Fronius power source.

At the heart of the system is the FANUC Arc Mate 50iD/7L robot, renowned for its precision and reliability in arc welding applications. Paired with the FANUC R30iB Mate PLUS controller, the CERT Cart offers the full power and flexibility of an industrial welding setup in a compact, collapsible design that fits through a standard 36-inch doorway. The fully integrated mobile cart provides a safe, controlled learning environment with features such as a welded construction, tinted sides for classroom protection, and a secure robot work area to ensure student safety during operation.

This system is engineered to train students on real-world welding tasks using FANUC’s ArcTool software, giving learners the knowledge and confidence needed to operate FANUC ARC Mate Series Robots. With support for FANUC’s ARC CERT program and student certification, this package ensures schools can offer cutting-edge welding education that meets the needs of today’s manufacturing employers.

The Weld CERT Cart also includes additional educational resources like Miller’s OpenBook™ learning management software, which helps instructors plan and assess student learning. Basic Operator

Students with this level will attain a basic understanding of robot and CNC operations and programming, material handling and its components, and preventative maintenance with troubleshooting. Students will work with standard robot or cobot carts, CNC simulators and 2- and 3-axis machines.

Intermediate Technician

Students with this technical level have a more thorough understanding of robot and CNC operations and programming, material handling and its components, robotic welding, multi-axis machine tools, as well as integrated technology, such as 2D iRVision, conveyors, digital and Ethernet I/O.

Advanced Systems Integrator

Advanced training options teach integrated technologies and how they communicate as a fully-automated system. In addition to robots and CNC machine tools, students will work with PLCs, HMIs, area scanners, light curtains, wireless communication and I/O, pneumatic devices, smart sensors, RFID tags, conveyors, and data analytics.
