Introduce students to industrial robotics with an affordable, space-saving virtual robot package!
The FANUC Introduction to Robotics Package is designed to give K-12 students an engaging, hands-on introduction to industrial robotics. Whether your school is limited by space, budget, or the number of robots available, this all-in-one solution offers a flexible and affordable way to introduce robotics to your curriculum.
With the material handling teach pendant and FANUC’s ROBOGUIDE software, students can program and control a virtual robot directly from their computer. This setup allows schools to expand the number of students actively learning robotics, even when only one physical robot is available in the classroom. ROBOGUIDE’s virtual environment enables learners to experience industrial robot programming, movement, and functionality without the need for a live robot, making it an ideal choice for schools with space or budget constraints.
By providing a practical introduction to robotics, this package is a great way to get students excited about STEM, automation, and modern manufacturing careers.
Basic Robot Operations
- Basic Robot Programming: Students will use the material handling teach pendant to program and control a virtual FANUC robot, gaining core programming skills.
- Robotic Movements and Simulation: Students will learn how to move and operate a robot in simulated environments, providing a real-world experience without the need for a physical machine.
- Introduction to Industrial Robotics: Learners will explore the fundamental concepts of industrial robotics, gaining insights into automation and preparing for more advanced robotics education.
- Enhanced Classroom Experience: The package allows multiple students to engage with robotics at the same time, perfect for schools with limited access to live robots.
These skills are directly applicable to careers in industrial automation, robotics integration, and small parts manufacturing.
