FANUC M-1iA Delta Robot

The FANUC M-1iA0.5A robot with R30iB Mate PLUS controller is an ultra-compact, 6-axis robot designed for high-speed small parts handling. It has a full safety enclosure and Allen-Bradley magnetic safety switch. Use it on a tabletop of your choice, or optional cart add-ons allow for more flexibility. The robot has a small footprint and offers the same programming ability as FANUC’s 6-axis articulated robot arms.

With 3, 4, or 6-axis configurations, the M-1iA robot series offers unparalleled versatility, delivering the same programming capabilities as larger FANUC robots.

Designed with a maximum payload of 1 kg and a work envelope of up to 420 mm, the FANUC M-1iA excels in educational applications such as assembly, picking, packaging, and sorting. Teach material handling with this standalone robot, or integrate it with conveyors and other technologies to teach full systems integration.

Complete with a full safety enclosure and Allen Bradley magnetic safety switch, the FANUC M-1iA ensures both efficiency and security during student training, offering a hands-on solution for learning advanced robotics in a classroom setting.

 

Basic Robot Operations

Automation training solutions for every program and learner

Basic Operator

Students with this level will attain a basic understanding of robot and CNC operations and programming, material handling and its components, and preventative maintenance with troubleshooting. Students will work with standard robot or cobot carts, CNC simulators and 2- and 3-axis machines.

Intermediate Technician

Students with this technical level have a more thorough understanding of robot and CNC operations and programming, material handling and its components, robotic welding, multi-axis machine tools, as well as integrated technology, such as 2D iRVision, conveyors, digital and Ethernet I/O.

Advanced Systems Integrator

Advanced training options teach integrated technologies and how they communicate as a fully-automated system. In addition to robots and CNC machine tools, students will work with PLCs, HMIs, area scanners, light curtains, wireless communication and I/O, pneumatic devices, smart sensors, RFID tags, conveyors, and data analytics.
