Levil EDU RoboMill

The Levil EDU RoboMill combines a FANUC CNC control with robotic automation, transforming a 6-axis FANUC robot into a fully functional CNC machining platform. Using standard G-code, students can learn real-world CNC and robotics programming in one compact, industrial-grade system—ideal for advanced manufacturing education.

Where Robotics and CNC Machining Meet

The Levil EDU RoboMill is the future of industrial automation! This machine merges the flexibility of a FANUC robot with the precision of CNC machining. Using FANUC’s Robot G-code interpreter, this system allows a robot to read and execute standard G-code, just like a traditional CNC mill.

Students can program and simulate machining paths in familiar CAM software (like Fusion 360 or Mastercam), generate G-code, and send it directly to the FANUC robot. The robot executes these commands with CNC-level accuracy, operating spindles for cutting, trimming, milling, and more.

Designed for both classroom learning and real-world industrial applications, the EDU RoboMill offers a powerful solution for schools that want to teach automation, robotics, and CNC machining in a single platform. The compact design fits through standard doorways and can be customized to fit any learning environment.

Features

  • FANUC Robot G-code interpreter: Converts G-code into robotic movement for precise multi-axis machining
  • Compatible with CAM software including Fusion 360 and Mastercam
  • G-code support: Linear and circular movement commands (G0, G1, G2, G3)
  • Dual spindle options based on robot payload (30,000 rpm or 14,000 rpm)
  • Built on a modular base for portability and classroom integration
  • Easy setup and programming—no robot-specific coding required
  • Supports robotic machining, CNC milling, trimming, tending, and 3D printing tasks
  • Future-proof modular design scalable for evolving applications

Learning Outcomes

  • Robotic CNC Programming: Use G-code to control robotic arm movements and spindle functions, learning CNC and robotic workflows on one platform.
  • CAM-to-Robot Workflow: Program toolpaths in CAM software, export G-code, and execute on a robotic system—mirroring real-world automation.
  • CNC Machining Skills: Understand spindle selection, feed rates, dwell times, and tool changes through hands-on experience.
  • Multi-Axis Automation: Train on up to 6-axis coordinated movement and machining within a compact cell.
  • Flexible Industrial Applications: Explore how one robot can switch between milling, tending, trimming, and other automated tasks.
