The 4 Wheel Brake System Trainer (MEG680PB-2W2W) is designed to demonstrate the full functionality of a four-wheel hydraulic braking system mounted on a welded steel chassis with casters for mobility. The system includes both front disc and rear drum brake assemblies, allowing students to compare operation, service procedures, and component differences within a single platform. This trainer incorporates OEM components (GM or Ford-based), a master cylinder with integral combination valve, brake pedal assembly, emergency brake pedal and cable, vacuum pump, and functional hydraulic lines and hoses. Hydraulic PSI gauges display actual braking pressure, enabling real-time system performance analysis.
Students can perform a wide range of routine brake service procedures, including adjusting brakes, flushing hydraulic fluid, servicing master and wheel cylinders, replacing hoses and lines, and diagnosing power assist braking and parking brake electrical circuits. The accessible design makes brake component inspection and service straightforward within a controlled learning environment. This trainer provides hands-on experience aligned with modern brake service standards and prepares students for entry-level automotive brake system service roles.
